A little about Jamie
A Southern California native, Jamie knew she wanted to be a teacher since she was twelve years old. Dedicated to education from a young age, she graduated high school two years early and attended college full-time at the age of sixteen. After two years at a local community college, Jamie received a full scholarship to Fresno Pacific University, a private Christian university. Jamie earned her Bachelor's in Liberal Studies in 2005. She then went on to earn her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
Jamie and her husband moved to the Sacramento area in the summer of 2008. Since that time, Jamie has been working successfully as an educator in many different capacities. Her experience includes classroom teacher, tutor, substitute, preschool teacher, special education instructional aide, after school coordinator and education manager.
In her spare time, Jamie loves to read, paint, hike, play her guitar and spend time with her family and friends. Jamie currently resides in Citrus Heights, California with her husband.
